It's Cold! Staying Warm Without Needing a Coat!

It's super cold here in the great state of VA.  I believe it's about 31 degrees today.  Although it's nippy outside, you should still try to be stylish!  Today I decided to pull out a 100% wool sweater and dress it up with over the knee boots!  As I was about to consign the Banana Republic belt that I'm wearing, it dawned on me that it would be super cute with this outfit, which prevented my sweater from flying open due to the vicious wind blowing.  Wide belts not only are stylish but they appear to make the waist look smaller, which is always a good thing.   This outfit was too bulky to wear a coat, so I decided to layer up and still wear a pashmina scarf around the neck.  Stay warm and be modish at the same time J
